A little girl stands at one end of a very, very, very long corridor. At the other end of the corridor a door is open and she can see and hear children playing, but it is a very, very, very long corridor and she is at the other end of it. Outside it is raining.
The little girl looks down at her brand new bright red sparkling wellington boots and starts to walk, she walks and walks. Half way down the corridor is a big door and above the door is a large round clock. The little girl stops and looks at the door. She looks at the clock. She looks at her bright red sparkling Wellington boots and then starts walking again.
Before she knows it the little girl is in the room with the other children, playing and laughing and drawing. A bell rings. All the children go out into the playground. The rain has stopped and the sun has come out.
"No jumping in the puddles."
"No splashing in the water."
"Keep those feet nice and dry."
The little girl looks at her feet. She looks at the puddles shining in the sun. She looks at her brand new bright red sparkling Wellington boots and she ...
Jumps in a puddle
And she splashes through the water.
A little girl is standing outside a big door, under a large round clock, in the middle of a very, very, very long corridor. Thinking about "Why you shouldn't jump in puddles".
The little girl looks at the door at the end of the very, very, very long corridor. She can see and hear children playing. She looks down at her brand new bright red sparkling wellington boots, moves her nice dry, warm toes and smiles.
How she loves her brand new bright red sparkling Wellington boots and what fun it was jumping and splashing in the puddles.
